Remesis Logistics duly recognises its corporate legal obligations as prescribed under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 and its associated Regulations, Codes of Practices and Australian Standards and the necessity of maintaining a broadly-based, quality approach to managing occupational health and safety so far as reasonably practicable. The underlying philosophy that Remesis Logistics embraces is that safety is the responsibility of all and the management of the business will be communicated and conducted in a consultative manner with appropriate information that will be made available to all personnel.

The organisation has a comprehensive range of strategies and programs available to employees to support their health, safety and wellbeing and there turn to work of ill or injured employees, including ensuring training and instruction is provided to employees commensurate with their roles and responsibilities to enable them to comply with this policy. Furthermore, measurable the safety objectives and targets will be developed to ensure that a risk management approach is undertaken for all identifiable hazards/risks and to achieve best practice.
